Terms of use

These terms cover your use of TestBanker. In short: a pass is a one-off purchase of access to one exam's question bank for a fixed number of days; the questions are for your own study and may not be copied or redistributed; and practice here is preparation for an exam, not a promise that you will pass it.

1. Who these terms are with

“We” and “the site” mean TestBanker and the people who operate it. By using the site, taking a free diagnostic, creating an account or buying a pass, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What the site is

A study resource: practice questions with explanations, written to the public content outlines of certification and licensing exams. It is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any exam owner, certifying body or licensing board; see the trademark notices.

The questions are written by AI and verified by machine, as described in the methodology. They are not written or reviewed by human subject-matter experts, and none is taken from any exam.

3. Accounts

The free diagnostic needs no account. To buy a pass you need one. Keep your sign-in details to yourself: an account is for one person, and you are responsible for what is done with it. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.

4. Passes and payment

  • A pass gives one person access to one exam’s question bank for the number of days stated when you buy it, starting at purchase.
  • It is charged once, in US dollars. It does not renew and there is no subscription.
  • Card payments are handled by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Prices may change, but a change never affects a pass you have already bought.

5. Refunds

You may have a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have answered fewer than 50 questions since buying. The details are in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing here limits any right to a refund that the law where you live gives you.

6. The pass guarantee

If you meet the conditions in the pass guarantee and do not pass your exam, your pass is extended by 90 days at no charge. The guarantee is an extension of access. It is not a refund and not a promise of any exam result.

7. What you may and may not do

You may use the questions and explanations for your own exam preparation. You may not:

  • copy, scrape, republish, sell or share the questions or explanations, in whole or in part;
  • share your account or let others use your pass;
  • use the content to build or train a competing product or dataset;
  • submit to us any question you remember from an exam. We do not want recalled exam content and will not use it;
  • interfere with the site, probe it for weaknesses, or get around its limits.

To protect the bank from being copied, an account may open at most 600 questions in a day. That is well above what studying requires.

8. Accuracy, and what we do not promise

We work to make every question and every exam fact correct, we cite references so you can check, and we correct errors in public (see the corrections log). Even so, the content may contain mistakes, and exam owners change their exams. Always confirm fees, dates, eligibility and rules with the exam owner.

We do not promise that you will pass any exam, that a practice score predicts an exam result, or that the questions resemble an exam’s questions in any particular respect. The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

The content is study material. It is not professional, clinical, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for the training or supervision your profession requires.

9. Ownership

The questions, explanations and pages are ours. Exam names and marks belong to their owners. Buying a pass gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content for study while the pass is active; it does not transfer ownership of anything.

10. Ending access

You can stop using the site at any time and can delete your account from the account page. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, for example by copying the bank or sharing a pass.

11. Privacy

What we collect and why is set out in the privacy policy.

12. Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. A change never reduces what a pass you have already bought gives you.
